Citizen of the Year

Miss Bo Peep receives the Citizen of the Year award for her diligence in caring for her sheep. Despite inclement weather she braved the elements and brought all of the flock home.

Scholarship Award

Jack is the proud recipient of the Athletics Scholarship for 2012. The scholarship will enable Jack to attend the Australian Institute of Sport for the next three years. He said today, "I'm hoping to become even more nimble and quick by the end of the degree."

Mystery Man Saves Pig

The town of Dickory wishes to thank the kind gentleman in brown who saved our town pig from being blown away on the weekend.

Community Warned Against Fishing

Local doctors have issued a warning against fishing in the town pond. It appears the fish have become quite aggressive in their objection to being caught. The hospital has seen several cases of bitten fingers.

Dame Dob Awarded Medal

Dame Dob is this year's recipient of the "Helpful Neighbour Award" for her quick application of first aid to Jack. Doctors say that it is because of her quick thinking that Jack has recovered so well. They urge all residents to take advantage of the free First Aid Classes run at the hospital on Saturday mornings.
